We bring awareness on trauma and mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
We curate workshops and community gatherings that focus on educating, providing resources, healing circles, and community building.
We provide support and knowledge to women in order to heal mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Women who have experienced abuse and/or other traumas are often left in the dark, and it is difficult for them to share their stories, and heal in order to reach their full potential to be self-sufficient mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Our services focus on accomplishing that these women can strengthen their adaptive and life skills, which has been affected by the trauma that they have experienced (domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other traumas).
After experiencing abuse and/or other traumas our self-esteem is truly impacted in a detrimental way. Trauma caused to the body and brain as a result of abuse creates long-term effects to our self-esteem, identity, and the ability to love ourselves. We are empowering and uplifting women through our services by taking a more of a holistic approach (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically), which will allow these women to reconnect and love themselves.
Symptoms resulting from trauma can directly impact our learning, reasoning, problem solving, emotional intelligence and communication abilities. With access to the right resources, we can become empowered by our own abilities and gain confidence through skill building. It can have an impact on personal development, and skills development enhances the proficiency of a person in any particular area. Skill enhances to build the professional network, mental health, better communication, time management and negotiation skills. It can require nurturing talents and skills that can be acquired by learning. Some examples of skill building are self care, learning about nutrition, and more.
Our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact by teaching women strategies on how to maintain their safety (mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.) Women who have experienced a traumatic event tend to feel unsafe in their bodies, in their environments and relationships with others, making it a challenge to transition out of abusive relationships found at learning facilities, religious organizations, the workplace, and at home. Our workshops focus on safety as a whole.
